Stenomorpha mckittricki (Pierce) from Kern County, Mckittrick, CA; covered with pale dirt. This species was described as a fossil from the Mckittrick oil fields before anyone ever found the living specimens.These specimens were collected by Rolf Aalbu and kept in my lab colony for two months. The "red" legs make this Stenomorpha species easily identifiable.
